• Reduced Homelessness: Wrote and passed HB943 (Act 299) which created a statewide system to triage, treat, and redirect homeless individuals—especially those with mental health or substance use issues—away from jails and emergency rooms into coordinated healthcare and support services.

• Increased Affordable Housing Access: Helped to pass HB703 (Act 282), which extended the state rent supplement program for our Kupuna.

• Supported Education: Helped to pass bills that focused on student well-being and access by expanding free school meals, modernizing assessment methods and strengthening school infrastructure systems.
